Jonathan Lewis (born June 4, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays for New York City FC, as a winger and forward.

Early and personal life
Lewis was born in Plantation, Florida, and attended South Plantation High School.
His mother is from London. He is also of Jamaican descent.

Club career
After playing in the United States with the Chicago Fire academy, Plantation FC and Kendall SC, and in England with the RIASA Academy, Lewis signed a two-year professional contract with Bradford City in July 2015. He had also trained with a number of other English clubs.
He signed on loan for Farsley Celtic in September 2015, making his debut for them the next day.
After two appearances for Farsley Celtic, one in the league and one in the FA Trophy, Lewis left Bradford City in October 2015 by mutual consent, citing homesickness.
Upon returning to the United States, he played college soccer with the Akron Zips, winning the 2016 Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year award.
In January 2017 he was drafted by New York City. Lewis made his professional debut on March 18, 2017, appearing as a 79th-minute substitute in a 1-1 draw with Montreal Impact.
International career
He is a member of the United States under-20 national team, and has been invited to a training camp run by the Jamaican senior team.
Playing style
He has been compared to Nahki Wells, who also signed for Bradford City after playing with RIASA.
